Gestational diabetes is another type that occurs during pregnancy. It can cause a lot of complications for both the mother and the child if not treated. Fortunately, gestational diabetes disappears after pregnancy.

The symptoms of diabetes depend on person to person but these are the common ones experienced by diabetic people: frequency of urination, always thirsty, weight loss or weight gain, sudden changes in vision, tingling sensation on the extremities, dry mouth and skin, low energy and wound/sores that take a long time to heal.
